Class Etiquette

Class Etiquette

By no means are we formal. There are no hard and fast rules. We just want you to chill and have a good time, so here’s a few minor suggestions:

1. Arrive a little early when possible, give yourself a moment to prepare for class. Be cool. Connect with your neighbor. If you arrive late, please enter quietly.

2. Remove your shoes. Leave them in the cubby. No switching to better shoes when you leave…he he!

3. Turn off your cell phones.  There’s nothing more embarrassing than getting jolted out of savasana bliss to your distinct ring tone.

4. Empty belly = happy yogi.

5. Tell your teacher about any injuries or health conditions. This will help the teacher make suggestions and modifications to make your practice safer and more enjoyable.

6. Avoid wearing strong perfumes.

7. If you have a mat, bring it. If you need one, we’ve got ‘em.

8. Stay for Savasana (final relaxation) if you can. IT’S THE BEST!  If you must leave early, be cool.
